1. Acceptance

By using What If? AI ("the platform", "we", "us") at whatifbeta.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. What the Platform Does

What If? AI generates AI-powered fanfiction and "what if" stories based on scenarios you provide. Stories are generated using large language models and AI image generation. Output is fictional and for entertainment purposes only.

3. Accounts

  • You must be 13 or older to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
  • You may not create accounts for others or share accounts.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the platform to:

  • Generate content involving real people in sexual or defamatory scenarios.
  • Generate content that promotes violence, hate, or discrimination.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or abuse the AI systems.
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content at scale.
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

5. AI-Generated Content

Stories and images are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or unexpected. We do not guarantee the quality or appropriateness of AI output. You are responsible for reviewing content you share or distribute.

AI-generated stories involving fictional characters (e.g. Batman, Goku) are fan works intended purely for entertainment. These characters are owned by their respective rights holders.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the scenario prompts you write. Stories generated by the AI based on your prompts are provided to you for personal use. We do not claim ownership of your prompts or your generated stories.

The What If? AI platform itself (code, design, branding) is our property.

7. Rate Limits

To ensure fair access, story generation is rate limited (5 novels per hour per account; 30 generations per hour per IP). Attempting to circumvent limits may result in account suspension.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of AI output, or fitness for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
